🛡️ Zor Browser

Privacy by default. Verified by design.

Zor Browser is the official gateway to the Zor Network — a next-generation privacy layer built on mixnets, zero-knowledge proofs, and Zcash’s shielded payments. It looks and feels like a modern browser, but under the hood, it verifies every relay, funds every route, and keeps every byte of data private by design.

🌐 What It Is

Zor Browser is a Chromium-based browser embedded with the Zor Core — a background service that connects you directly to the Zor mixnet. There’s no manual setup, no configuration files, no wallet popups.

When you open Zor Browser:

  1. It automatically connects to the mixnet through 3–20 random relays.

  2. It funds a private vault using shielded ZEC from your local wallet.

  3. It begins routing your traffic through encrypted hops, verifying each relay with zk-proofs.

  4. As you browse, micro-payments flow privately to each verified relay.

Everything happens transparently and verifiably — privacy that just works.

🔒 Core Features

🧅 Mixnet Auto-Routing

All requests are wrapped in onion layers and passed through random relays. If any hop fails, the browser reroutes automatically using encrypted recovery capsules. You stay connected — always.

💰 Integrated Shielded Wallet

Zor Browser includes a built-in Zcash wallet for shielded payments. It automatically funds your vault and pays micro-fees per session — invisible to the user, private on-chain, auditable only by you.

🧠 Proof-of-Forwarding Verification

Each relay you pass through generates a zk-proof that it forwarded your data correctly. If the proof checks out, it’s paid instantly in ZEC. If not, it’s ignored. No proof = no reward.

🪪 ZCert Authentication

When visiting .zor sites, Zor Browser checks a ZCert — a hardware-attested certificate that proves the service is running in a verified enclave. It’s the Zor version of HTTPS — but verified by cryptography, not corporations.

🛠️ Privacy Strength Meter

A visual indicator shows your current hop count and latency, helping users balance performance and privacy on the fly.
